Re: “Paul Roof says he will not seek his old job at Charleston Southern University

CSU teaches us to pray about the small and big decisions we make in our lives. I wonder if they chose to take this path. Practice what you preach. This whole situation sucks. Professor Roof taught well and promoted nothing but Christian values. Students would pick his classes just because he could connect and help us learn more effectively. More professors should be like him. Even the growing a beard part.

Re: “Confessions of a loyal Southern Charm fan

Did "t-rav" pay you to write a fluff piece about him? C'mon man. No one wants to watch a show filled with rich people dealing with rich problems. Especially when there are so many underemployed, unemployed and homeless within the Charleston reach. T-rav, whether he cares or doesn't, is the laughing stock of Charleston. The people who actually watch this show only do so to gather more reasons to point and laugh. This show is sexist, mildly racial, and a disgrace to the "new" Charleston roots. You know, the roots which don't give a rats ass about rich people and care more about being happy.

Re: “City budget calls for 10 new police officers

Aren't there enough cops in this city? So, Charleston is funding more cops.. Which will screw more people over (like giving tickets for improper lane change or a headlight being out)... Which will lead to more money...more cops... More money.. When does it end? The jails are already over-crowded. The economy has made it hard for the normal person to pay bills yet fines or tickets. Why doesn't Charleston fund more after school programs or addiction centers? Oh.. Because they need the bad guys to bring in money to aid to the cycle. So who's the bad guys again?
