Really enjoyed the lights last year (2012) that was our first time going. I am not much for holidays to be honest, but the lights transcended Christmas and reached out to all of us. Fun times with nursery rhymes, aliens, santa claus, the bridges, elves, gnomes, reindeer, horses, etc etc. We had to take two laps around in the car to take it all in (including snapping lots of pictures) Word of caution, some folks have complained of lack of porta potties/rest rooms, etc, so go with an empty bladder. We plan to go again this year (this is free if you buy a gold pass, which lets you into the park all year anytime for only $65 fro county residents. well worth buying the pass)
I shopped at Aldi for years before moving to Charleston. Glad to have one here. options are good. Obviously the store isn't right for this pretentious douchebag, but for many reasons Aldi is a great choice. Wish it would have been on James Island..
They put on a great show. Nice guys as well.
Is it weird that when I see CHARLESTONION I see Charles T. Onion? is it just me? Oh, wait. this article is about Dusty. I love him. I have a pan named after him. Dus T Pan..
Wishing Pam the best of luck as she moves on with her life. Being around family is hugely important. Love her and she's done amazing things for theater in Charleston. Threshold is a wonderful intimate space. looking forward to see where it goes..
I'm not a fan of Tim Scott, but it sounds like he got himself where he is through his own efforts. Who of hasn't had help and mentors? It's a challenge for anyone born poor to rise above it, but he did. I still voted for Dickerson ... but he made it past and is now elected to the senate. kudos
