Belief in Winnie the Pooh is derived from the same place as belief in "God", Clarkie. Both are derived from pure fiction.
God is dead. Religion is a fraud. Clarkie is a wingnut. Biology explains things, religion does not. Religion takes, it does not give. God is a figment of religion's imagination, the boogey man in the clouds that scared tribes together to beg for mercy via a conduit. Religion is merely a consolidation of power, with the power given by the strict adherence of the sheep. People who have to pray, instead of just believing in themselves and making things happen. The bible is a wonderful work of fiction, but to use it as a guiding doctrine for all parts of life? There is no Invisible Cloud Being, there is no judge at the end, just a long dirt nap and decay.
