Re: “Chick-fil-A is Not a Hate Group

This article is interesting to me as a gay person, specifically the line where Paul Bowers says,"I support marriage equality. But I'm not going to stop eating at Chick-fil-A."

Here's the thing; you cant support something while knowingly spending your money at an establishment who contributes millions against the thing you're claiming to support. If you have Gay friends and support them then walk across the street and get a chicken sandwich at Wendy's or Burger King or McDonalds or Ms. Winters or KFC or the hundred other places selling chicken sandwiches. If you don't care enough about them not having the same rights as you to walk across the street to another restaurant, then they can probably do without your "support."

If you are Christian and believe that somehow as a member of that group its your responsibility to tell others how their families should look or what type of life they should lead even though it has absolutely no effect on your own family or marriage or private life; go ahead as long as in the next breath you aren't talking about how supportive you are of gay people. You can't have it both ways.
