In this forum, I suppose Clarkie is welcome to say whatever she/he thinks, though I would appreciate more evidence for such grand claims as "our Government has caused most of our social problems."
Unfortunately, Clarkie's comment has almost nothing to do so with Dr. Piepmeier's column. Dr. Piepmeier is a married woman with a child and a successful career. She is talking about the relationship between family life and work life; she makes no specific reference to same-sex couples, blended families, unmarried couples with children, government policy, corporal punishment, or any of the other topics that appear to interest Clarkie. Could we please keep our comments focused on the points raised in the column?
