Re: “Bilderberg conspiracies have become a handicap for the Liberty Movement

Jack you wrote: "the fact that their argument is toxic. It doesn't change the fact that their rhetoric damages conservatives' reputations."

Question: Is that THE reason that you turn away from Conspiracy Theories and Secret Societies? Or is it your BEST reason?

Either way, if you take our position "Abolishing the Income Tax", "Abolishing the Minimum Wage", or "Abolishing 700 Military outside of the USA" -- all those arguments are "too toxic" too. And all that "rhetoric" damages our 'conservative reputations" too. Just read "JazzJames" progressive comments, we are all "nut-jobs" to him. Notice that "Respectable circles" also turn their backs on YOU when you mention such things as the need to shrink govern down to just a few basic functions -- why is that? Because "respectable circles" want MORE from government, not less.

The bottom-line Jack, the r3VOLution allows in anyone who champions MORE LIBERTY for whatever the reason. I don't care if they believe in Chemtrails, 9-11 nano-thermite or that the "Holocaust is a provable lie". I don't care if they think the most surprising things, as long as they are on board with MORE LIBERTY and LESS GOVERNMENT in our lives, then they are a friend of mine. Sure, I will ask for their proof, I will ask for their facts, and as long as they don't ask me to accept it on faith, I'm good, will keep listening and the dialog can CONTINUE with MY FRIEND IN LIBERTY.

That is far more than what "respectable circles" do. They won't stick around for 5 minutes to learn how MORE government will them getting LESS of what they really profess to want. They will not stick around to learn that raising the minimum wage INCREASES unemployment and hurts the poor, particularly the black/minority inner city poor. They will not stick around to learn that if they want a more "fair & equal" society, that the best way to get that is walking through LIBERTY's front door. They will not stick around, indeed these liberals & progressives give us their back if we dare suggest that the surest way to full employment is to abolish all forms of government welfare. They will not tolerate the fact that they have given government the church's job of Charity to All. They will not listen, not for a second, because our ideas are "tin foil hat" ideas by people wearing "tinfoil hats" who are full of "bad intentions" -- Oooooooo.

Are you like that now? Are your fingers inside of your two ears? Did you put your two fingers into your ears when the very messy debate over Intellectual "property" took place? Did you find it fascinating or did you shake your head on that one too? If you are not OPEN to learn from freedom loving people, who are you open to learning from?

But, if you are looking for the doctrinaire pure, join the Libertarian Party. They seem to be liking your kind of old school conservative (Bob Barr, Gary Johnson) and they are desperately trying to be likeable.

As for me, I will take the Messy Diverse Radical r3VOLution anytime. Long Live the r3VOLution!
