I had a 3x3 painting and a small uncle fester stolen from black chart .I had a painting stolen from vickery,s downtown, the mill ,urban outfitters, and an attempt made at joe rylie stadium.People need to understand that we artist are giving a gift of making this ugly world more beautiful .Theft of our hard work is not only a violation on us,but it is sad statement on mankind. This can hurt more people than just the artist loosing thier personal belongings. This is a violation on the community.
I still miss every one of those paintings.P hyman
Cant think of a more deserving duo.Hardest working people(like these two) need to do good and have good.It gives us a hope that this will survive in this kardashian era.Not to mention the awesome talent they have. This has always shined thru.
akk akkk ak akkk!
How can people learn and evolve if they don't listen objectively? How much of a chance for positive change?
Jimbos lounge was not only a venue for upcoming local and regional bands ,it was a venue for us underground artist that filled the walls with artwork and sold work there on a regular bases.I personally put together shows featuring two artist and a garage band twice a month for months. Not seeing a mention of this is rather concerning but a common reality of the coverage of the efforts given by Jimbo and others.Do you think that the city paper has any responsibilty in who gets nurtured and who does not?Does this effect weather a small buisness is sucessful or not?Jimbos was a place for burlesque, to car shows, to cloverfest, not only a venue for bands but a venue for a community of people who in this day have less following by the papers in general .Sad, these were the things that originally made the city paper what it used to be.
