I will not perpetuate or support animal cruelty with my dollars for admission or support a circus on social media. My dollars make decisions everyday on products I purchase or do not purchase, and I have a list of companies I actively avoid.
I do not have to picket MUSC weekly for it to be socially acceptable to picket the circus or condone them on social media.
It comes down to when you know better you do better. Doing nothing when you know better is willful ignorance. And is nothing to be proud of.
It is my responsibility to teach my children that every life is important and life in captivity, being 'trained' into submission to perform for my amusement is base and inhumane. Teaching them that the animals are not happy to be living this life they are subjected to is important and showing them the example of the types of people who enjoy watching spectacles like this only illustrates my point.
Hopefully they will live in a future where displays like this will be a thing of the past and a curiosity on how we could have ever permitted something this cruel to go on for nearly 145 years.
Lindsay Graham is a SLUG--- He should be working on JOBS and keep his business out of vaginas-- oh wait for it... wait for it... BENGAHZI!!!!
I've never been compelled to shop there-- mostly over priced items I can get cheaper at HT or Publix-- the ones near my home 3 of them, don't carry the organic, Non-GMO, brands I seek out and can find at Publix and Earth Fare-- I'd rather travel an extra mile to get my food. Their choices and prices left me wanting.
I loved their support of local and SC produce-- but Local produce doesn't mean anything in regards to health-- Pesticides are sprayed on our local farms and Round Up (glyphosate) is a deal breaker-- I can't purchase food from farmers who spray, glyphosate doesn't wash off. I love local, we are so rich in the Low Country with our options-- The Pig may have missed the mark with the local produce by offering what the unaware and apathetic are willing to eat.
