"But unlike Republicans, the Democratic Party doesn't believe it is the government's place to make those kinds of health care decisions for women.". - But it's okay for the government to tell you what kind of health care you can and cannot have via Obama Care? Absolutely hilarious! Watch the right hand...don't look over at the left hand, de de de de de de. Hypocrite.
Politics is big giant marketing scheme that preys on the heartstrings of the lowest common denominator. Why else would Obama have Clinton speak at the convention? Everybody loves him. Unfortunately, those that buy into it vote, on both sides. That being said, I cannot understand why voter ID is a problem. You need an ID to get on a plane, to cash a check, to buy cigarettes and alcohol. Why is it a big deal? Who are you disenfranchising, the poor, the elderly, the immigrant worker? Surely they smoke and drink and possibly still write checks. But, tug on the heartstrings of the overly sensitive social types and BLAMO! HOW DARE YOU??? Picking on the defenseless. EVIL REPUBLICAN!!! That argument doesn't hold water. Clearly, voting is one of the most important things any of us will be doing in a couple months. Far more important than getting a 12 pack. I would think you would be in favor of it considering both sides accuse the other of voter fraud.
Connelly's comments are purposefully inflamatory and meant to piss you off. However, his comments are from and "E-Mail" blast. How many people did that reach, 2000? I wouldn't worry about it. Those on that list wouldn't agree with you anyway.
