Re: “Nikki Haley tries to stamp out obesity

I think you were a little tough on Sellers - Nikki Haley doesn't listen to anybody except people that agree with her. You literally have to swat her beside the head to get her attention and Sellers was trying to do just that. It is very difficult for people in the rural areas to get healthy foods especially from places that accept SNAP. And, I think there needs to be some education about what is healthy food and how to cook healthy food. Many people from the rural areas of SC have been cooking their vegetables with fat back their whole life - the don't know any other way. They don't even know this is bad for them. These people need education on how to buy and cook healthy - don't just jerk the rug off from under them like Nikki Haley would do.

Re: “Nikki Haley is working hard for the working man

Completely disagree with this article. Nikki Haley could care less whether people in this state have jobs - she could careless about the people of this state period - All she cares about is Nikki Haley and her ascent to higher places in the republican party.

Re: “Charter, magnet, and private schools harm public education

The state of SC need to get a Superintendent of Education that has a clue what he is doing. Schools cannot be run like a business. You cannot give teachers grades. The whole system needs to be revamped - but we need some one with innovative ideas and willing to put in the hard work to do it. Zais is NOT that person!!

Re: “S.C. Dem's Loveday responds to Connelly's abortion rite of passage comments

Kinda ironic that the Republicans are so against the government telling them how to run their businesses, but yet when comes to women's bodies - the republicans want to be able to tell women everything they can and cannot do with their bodies.
I find that very ironic - republicans care more about their businesses than they do about their women.
