Looks like excessive force to me. He looks 4X bigger than her.
I am a charter subscriber to G & G. And I do enjoy reading it every two months.
But I whole hardily agree with your assessment. I lived in Charleston 1970-1985 and witnessed big changes for the best during those years. I remember buying my first oyster knife for 35 cents. Now you can get one through G & G for just $250.00!
The same week an apartment 'security' guard (2) shot and killed an unarmed teen that was not on the property being guarded in metro Atlanta. Heard about that?
I don't know how to explain this except it must have a racial bias since here it was black on black and in Florida it was white hispanic on black.
I like the Gullah foods which I enjoyed way before Hilton Head was a resort or Defuskie schools hired a nut-cake for a teaching stint. But Chef Dennis did not have to go all the way to the Caribbean to learn this local Beaufort area cusine. In fact I believe there are still some secret places in the low country that relish this cookin.
(PS - I did not know anyone grew up on Daniel Island as it was only marsh with no access until the current century) Ken
This idiot should have done some teaching. Just follow the curriculum! With over 7,000 students dropping out of school every day in the USA one would think a teacher would have his mind on something else than porno. And why was he viewing this on his laptop during class time. Good he is gone.
