Obama said act of Terror, the very next day, and it applies equally to a disorganized mob, or an organized highly trained team of insurgents. The intelligence at the the time was that it was a spontaneous reaction to a video that was likened to the burning of a Koran. Ever since, right wingers have spouted free speech rhetoric and suggested that Koran ashes are more precious than the blood of our Ambassador, Chris Stevens. They would rather make a hero out of a convicted con man and drug dealer then come together in this time of national crises.
How about this: We re-elect Obama, and the rich all "Self Deport".
Leave no turn un-stoned.
Chris, unlike Alanis Morrisette, you know what "IRONIC" means.
Re: “Should churches be prohibited from political speech?”
Until I read this article I was in complete agreement with the idea of taxing the churches that break the social contract. But just today I realized that once taxed, the muzzle is off for good, and they will step up their opinion mongering agenda until they have completely taken over. If we tax them for politicking, then we give them license. You can never put the tooth paste back into the tube. A better answer would be a severe financial penalty for each and every abuse.
