If we allow this what’s next? Please do not let greed destroy beauty. Coastal Conservation League I stand behind you. Let's win this fight.

Re: “Guy Fieri and the perils of middlebrow food

Maybe I’m wrong but I was always under the impression Diners Drive-in’s and Dives was a show set out to expose the best of “low brow” dining. I used to watch it and think how lucky he was to have the opportunity to find hidden gems in different towns and cities. To meet people who really put their heart and soul into their food. His restaurant seems to go against everything that brought him success and do a disservice to everyone he has had the amazing opportunity to meet through the course of his show.

Re: “Society makes it nearly impossible for women to have it all

With the average cost to raise a child from birth to age 18 resting somewhere around $100,000 it is imperative in most situations both parents work. I completely agree there should be steps taken so that having a family and having a career can better coincide. As a 28 year old female who looks forward to having a family the thought of my children being raised in a day care or by a nanny saddens me. Great article Alison.
