Re: “Protesters threaten to shut down Ravenel Bridge toward Mt. Pleasant at 4 p.m.

@ poster "black mom". You say that it angers you when black men marry "outside" their race. That very statement makes you a RACIST.

Re: “Protesters threaten to shut down Ravenel Bridge toward Mt. Pleasant at 4 p.m.

Like any rational person, I was disgusted at the video of Walter Scott being killed, but this idiotic "protest" will accomplish nothing other than making motorists angry at the protesters. What do they want, anyway? The man responsible was arrested and charged with murder. Not a snowballs chance in hell he'll get away with it, there's too much proof of his guilt in the video. I honestly think they just want on tv, or they think they'll be able to ca$h in on this somehow. If people would put as much effort into doing good and helping others as they do protesting when something terrible happens, perhaps fewer terrible things would happen. Peace.

Re: “In Benghazi show trial, Hillary Clinton must atone for George Bush's sins

Chris Haire is one of the most worthless excuses for a journalist that I've ever read. In fact, he's even worse than Will Moredock was. Sickening liberals like Chris give a pass to anything that happens as long as there is a liberal in the white house. Disgusting.

Re: “The Republican Party has been taken over by kooks

I personally am not a huge fan of cfl bulbs. In my own experience, they are not usually worth the cost. Something to remember though, cfl's are NOT meant to be turned on and off for short periods of time, like in say, a closet. The ballasts in them are meant to run for longer periods of time. An article I read, I think it was in Reader's Digest, reccommended cfl's in places where the light would be on for at least 15 minutes before being turned off and to use an incandescant in other places. Also, the old addage about turning on a light using as much electricity as running it for an hour is not true. Turning on an incandescant bulb uses about as much electricity as running it for 5 seconds. Yes, seconds. I look forward to LED bulbs coming down in price, I would use them in a heartbeat as they use about 1/4 the power of a cfl bulb.
