More government. We do not need more government. What will this park cost the taxpayers over the next 25 years? How many will benefit? Under the Obama administration there are 50 million people in this country without enough to eat. Surely some of them might live in the Charleston area. So let 'em eat skateboards?

Not sure I can read all that into what Harpootlian said. But what he has done is give others a license to say it under the guise of defending Haley. Politics in South Carolina has become a social disease. You are either sick with it or sick of it, or both. Little wonder alcoholism is rampart here..
