Re: “The Citadel's failure to act has tarnished its reputation

People like David A. Carroll are actually nothing but politicians who use their power to influence people that will accommodate their particular causes. I find it amazing that people like Carroll let the actions of just two deviants (known) in over 100 years define their positions on their alma mater. Sexual deviants infiltrate schools, churches, and sport programs in every community in America. And the majority of these institutions make grave mistakes when dealing with these issues. Afterwards many experts come forward pointing out why it happened and how it could have been prevented, i.e. the blame game. Hind sight is always 20-20.

Why didn't all of the parents of the victims rush to report these actions to the police? Nothing unusual here. General Rosa can resign and the most up to date programs dealing with sexual deviants can be put in place and like a computer virus the deviants will still find a way to slip through the safety net. Then people like Carroll can play the blame game and give the thumbs down again and use their dollars to appoint someone of their ilk. The lawyers are the only winners.
