For the negative commentators, may I ask how many of you have had someone murdered on your lawn? Hearing your ignorant responses reinforces what is wrong with our country. Speaking before your think may help us all. I hope the family of the victim and all those that witnessed his last moments of life may heal soon.
Ryan O. you crack me up. Especially the Piggly Wiggly t-shirt confused manner line. Puts my head into the game with a laugh and highlights....keep it up. Now a days we need to laugh a little at everything...Good job guys..fight the fight til the finish!!!!
Jaxx,
I stand corrected. As a wife and mother of 2 jocks, I also found Ryan's coverage entertaining. In addition, I think readers have to support writers trying to make a name for themselves in a dying industry. Most parents would agree its not easy paying off student loans while your grads aren't making much more than minimum wages these days. Sadder still, they are the lucky ones that have a job.
Mr. McBurney maybe you shouldn't put down a North Broad education until you learn how to spell. What is your educational background? While I agree spectator conduct is not what it should be, is not the fault of this journalist. Btw daytonhawk, I think Ryan Overhiser has already become a journalist if your reading his article and criticizing it!! Jaxx if you think describing a layup in 50 words is boring how about the game itself...bouncing a ball and shooting it through a net for 2.5 hours may need a little spicing up. If you don't like a twist on covering sports, just read the stats and scores. Buy a Readers Digest and enjoy it on the toilet then you can flush your hateful comments down the bowl......
Re: “A fatal shooting has caused me to re-examine my love for the Holy City”
My bad..I meant thinking before you speak would help us all...shouldnt post things when I'm half asleep...
