Does this remind anyone of the kind of decision making that leads to the crosstown being beautified instead of re-engineered to drain properly? Who cares about drainage on the East Side... tourists don't see it. They're blinded by the beautiful facade that is tourist-friendly Charleston. Sweetgrass baskets, gullah and choirs.... That about sums up the black community's contribution to the Holy City, is that correct Charleston Area Convention and Vistors Bureau?
Sure is a pretty fiction tough....
