that would be fine if there were not more people who want to live here than there are jobs. i make less than what i made when i graduated college in 1991. i couldn't be happier, with the beach, cost of living and the amenities the area provides. it's called the market.

additionally my experience down here is that most employees make twice as much as they are worth as it is, regardless of how much or how little they make. work ethic is not a low country strong point.

wow...Comrade I salute you. I thought I had a negative tendency but you sir have set the bar so high for us I stand in your shadow. Given your name is Comrade and given your tirade against humanity one can only figure you must be a Communist or a Nazi. Instead of reserving your prose for online rants I think you should share it with the world. Might I suggest you start a petition or even a T-shirt line decrying "Folly Beach is not the Edge of the World, It is for people like me who are simply Over the Edge"...asshole.

i've heard of this. the IBM computer is run by three Pre-Cogs floating in a pool of water. The program is run by a Scientologist who believes he is smarter than the people is paid to protect. Oh, wait, that's Minority Report. What a lousy idea this is.
