Just a note...this is a benefit for Coastal Conservation League and The Nature Conservancy efforts to preserve Red Cockaded Woodpecker habitat and provide education about its life, so it is a ticketed event: $10 for adults, and free for 15 and under.
And the Lowcountry Blueberry Jam on Sunday afternoon at Blue Pearl Farms in McClellanville (bluepearlfarms.com/Blueberry_Jam.html for more information) with gates open at 2.30 pm and a lineup from classic jazz to a Cuban jazz quartet, Americana roots rock, and the New Orleans funk sound of Wadata.
Re: “Lowcountry Blueberry Jam w/Harrison Ray, the Will Lewis Band, and the Sandinistas”
Inclement weather has forced us to cancel the Blueberry Jam. As a farm in need of water, we welcome rain, but forecasters have issued severe thunderstorm warnings from now through Monday with over an inch of rain expected Sunday in the Lowcountry. To keep everyone safe and dry, the Lowcountry Blueberry Jam is cancelled for Sunday, August 19. Thank you all for your support, and see you on September 16.
