I couldn't agree more with Cannon. When a law is created that is unconstitutional then he IS following the "laws" by ignoring it. So many idiots out there that are game with our rights and liberties being taken away because of their opinions instead of actually thinking about what they are doing. Every time there is a tragedy in this Country, our Gov't immediately introduces a law to take away our rights and claims it to be "for the people" in light of the tragedy. The patriot act was a great example of that after 911. Wake up people! Our Gov't isn't looking out for our rights or best interests. To think they are, makes you a fool. Look at the history. Educate yourself!
You are completely wrong. There are many different reasons that people are uniting, the main issue is Government Corruption. My Social Security which was deemed "untouchable" when installed has been dipped into by our Gov't with no discussion to pay it back, as was yours. We the people pay more in taxes so rich idiots who can't balance their spending habits can remain rich. The Federal Reserve, not owned by our Gov't is a losing system. This is about our Government looking out for the interest of it's Citizens. This is an opportunity for the United States of America to stand up and say HEY, we will NOT put up with this. That is what this is, if you don't stand up for your Rights as an American, then you don't stand for shit.
Re: “2013 City Paper Photo Contest”
These pics were chosen based off of a agenda... we are patriotic, look a local celebrity (even though the picture is mostly out of focus). These were not chosen based off of skill or lighting lol. These were not chosen because they are great photographs that represent "My Charleston" , only two of them are decent photographs the patriotic girls and the black and white that got 2nd place over the lamest picture I've ever seen. The judges should be ashamed of themselves for giving into politics instead of picking the best pictures
