Oops...they AREN'T informed enough
I completely agree with arty's comment about those draining the taxpayers' purse NOT being allowed to vote. Of course, there should be some short term allowance for those unemployed & actually LOOKING for work. As for the abundance of do-nothing leaches on society??...no vote for you! Unless you're a contributing member of society, either full time student or employed...nada.
As for republican voter suppression...bs. We simply want those who are too lazy, (or too illegal) to get an ID to stay the hell home. They are informed enough to make logical & responsible fiscal decisions, that affect the rest of us. Case in point, 2008!!
My credentials? Single mom for 21 years. Never a dime of child support or WELFARE. Working 2 jobs to put both my daughter & I through school. Funny thing? I don't qualify for any of those socialist handouts. I work too hard, I guess. That's ok though. I'd rather have my dignity.
