up until the 1950's 90% of all homes were purchased with "cash"and the middle class, without credit lines or cards. the merchants and salesmen of the world have done an amazing job of taking a very frugal culture and making it need more then it actually needs and feeling left out, abused and entitled, if they don't get it.many of our fellow citizens have come under the spell of the good old marketing geniuses that make the 1% very very very wealthy all to the dissolution of so many of the characteristics, strengths and perseverance that has made this country a great nation. it was built on work; not credit, tough people willing to sacrifice and wait till they actually could afford it. what a novel thought!! oh yea!
at the beginning of the trial the defense wanted to bring in as evidence the the recent behavior i.e. suspended from school, getting caught with burglary tools and womens jewelry and smoking pot all done by TM. is that true? please respond.
TO ME IT'S THE FEAR OF OUR "SUCESS" AS A SPECIES THAT HAS MY ATTENTION, CAN WE SURVIVE "PROGRESS". 8 BILLON AND COUNTING!! THERE WAS A FAMOUS EXPERIMENT IN THE 1920'S. IT WAS CONDUCTED BY BIOLOGISTS AT THE UNIV. OF NEW MEXICO.THEY KILLED ALL THE PREDATORS,THE CATS, WOLVES,CYOTES,ETC. AND ALLOW THE DEER HERD TO "PROSPER",WELL AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THEY CERTAINLY DID, IN FACT SO MANY BABIES WERE BORN THEY RULED THE RANGE BUT WHAT HAPPENED??? 95% OF THEM DIED FROM STARVATION AND DISEASE.SOUND FAMILIAR?? SO IF WE AS A SPECIES KEEP GOING OUR MERRY WAY CAN WE EXPECT DIFFERENT?? NATURE-GOD-LIFE ETERNAL DOES NOT REALLY THINK MORE HIGHLY OF US THAN THE REST OF CREATION; SAME RULES APPLY.I HATE TO SAY IT BUT THERE ARE NO MORE GREENER PASTURES WITH A UNLIMITED CARRYING CAPACITY. WHAT DO YOU THINK WE NEED TO DO!!!??? '
IT'S NOT THE FUTURE THAT'S SCARY,BUT THE PAST. THE PRESIDENT'S FORMATIVE YEARS. THE INFLUENCES AND POLITICS OF HIS MENTORS!! REV.DR.WRIGHT ETAL?? THINK ABOUT IT WHERE DO YOU WANT TO GO??
