In your e-mail to the governor's press secretary, you stated that the governor had promised to drive "anyone who needs an ID to the DMV to get one."
That's not what she said. She said she would drive people who have a problem with the law requiring IDs to vote.
What's so hard about getting an ID. The only people I have known who were averse to getting an ID were people who were here illegally or on the run from the law. To say that black people and other minorities typically don't have IDs is a prejudicial statement.
Besides, if we're not supposed to pass any laws that disproportionately affect a certain race of people, then I guess we should no longer pursue or profile serial killers, as they are disproportionately white men between 25 and 40.
