Re: “A quick locals-only guide to finding beach house rentals

"We can all complain about the heat in July (and yes, it's getting worse)..."
Hottest recorded temp in July 2011 - 96 deg.
Hottest recorded temp in July 1902 - 103 deg. (Source National Weather Service (NWS/NOAA))
Its not really getting worse, just your body's normally air conditioned response to it is...

Re: “Watch out for pinkos at the RedState Gathering

Yeah that's it.... Keep telling yourself "it's gonna get better. Barrys going to catch a break any time now. It's going to be ok...???" if you keep telling the same lame jokes, eventually it'll come true, right?

Re: “This is what happens when you deal with terrorists

The predictability of y`all's intellectual laziness here is making me so sleepy, I almost fell out of my chair. It reminds me of how I imagine KKK meetings must have been when they ran out of new and interesting things to talk about, say 5 mins. after the meeting started, so they started yelling about how much they hated those that didn't look like them, just like they did at the last gathering.

Sometime, just for fun, turn off comedy central and do a little reading to educate yourself about how conservatives and reformed christians shape their world views so at least when you write your columns or replies, you won't put people to sleep.

Re: “The Library boasts a unique setting but predictable food

You know, local restaurant reviews don't have to be an exercise in snarky-ness. Its sounds to me as if the Library set out to make a specific environment of sort of old-school french-influenced dining in that spot in downtown Chas... and they hit it on the head. I like edgy food as much as the next, but sometimes I also like the experience of kind of a historical period-like formal meal that goes with the setting I am enjoying it in.

If your intent was to push people away from the Library, you've done quite the opposite for me. Its sounds like they've done exactly what they set out to do... your "too-cool-for-school" eagerness to be dissatisfied not withstanding.
