Re: “The Olde North Charleston Picture House

LOVE this movie house. Free popcorn and a homey atmosphere mixed with smart film selections. What more could you ask for?

Grady is and has always been a Charleston superstar and true original. We're lucky to have had him.

Re: “Pecha Kucha 12 gets theatrical

While I did not attend this event, as a feminist I respect Ms. Marie's choices. She and her fellow models are obviously comfortable in their skin, a gift not all of us share. The fact that it was her idea and her performance makes it HER art and therefore makes it empowering to her. This is simply one facet of a complex artist. While the video may be some man's wet dream it also raised the temperature for women in the room as well and a video that makes you feel something whether it's sexy or happy or sad is ART. The world is too full of mediocre "art" that stimulates no minds or bodies. Good job Abigail Marie and John Barnhardt.
