Have enjoyed coming up here on the weekends when I have been in town. I find a little of the opposite experience than Chad D with the owners. The tall skinny guy always seems to be hustling as are the other workers. The other guy who is nice and all will put my order in and then watch the others scramble around to pour the coffee or heat up the food. Little odd.
I only get black coffee so its a little hard to mess that up.
The last Sunday I went by they were opening at 10:30. Open at 8 at least.
Does this mean beer prices are going to go up another dollar?
If you can do brisket at home like Mr. Lewis then what in the hell are you doing on here?
Maybe I drink the kool-aid maybe I don't. I had his brisket (last summer in the summer series) and I've had it at HTBBQ and Swig and Swine since. Its not even close how much better JL is. It's a hefty price but its worth it.
Have the Lee Brothers started dating each other yet? I hope they stay far away from Top Chef.
The locally sourced turds would then get a CP cover story. 3 restaurants would open up selling locally sourced turds. 1 would close within a year. 1 would become a taco shop. The 3rd would become a BBQ joint.
I'm with Ima on this. Just chasing fads. It was burgers one year, tacos another, and then beer gardens. What's all the rage in NYC right now so I will know what to expect in 3 years?
