its not about what while rich people like....Its about protecting kids from obtaining one 23.5 ounce can containing the equivalent of 5 beers and a tall cup of coffee. One can of energy + alcohol, like Four Loko,costs an average of $2.50/can which is considerably cheaper than the alternative containing the same amount of alcohol. This makes beverages like Four Loko an attractive drink to younger people of all colors!
Drinks like Four Loko are also masking and delaying the effects of alcohol which may cause these kids to consume more and black out. There have already been deaths, accidents and illnesses associated with these beverages. I don't think Founders Breakfast Stout encourages young people to binge drink and certainly doesn't market towards college age kids!
so playing the race card will not fly here!!
