"It speaks a lot about who we are as a country"? I'm sorry but Union greed with socialist democratic politicians have given Detroit the Mad Max reality it has. And she's being a bit disingenuous when she says she can't imagine a European city doing this, she might want to look into Greece (an entire country, which is worse) selling off some of its islands for a bit of context. People, the last thing you want to listen to are more liberals for their opinion after they ruin something.
The title is condescending, who is this guy to tell someone their reaction is wrong? Oh whatever would we do without free Alt paper blowhards and their sage political advice?
another excellent hit piece on Jack. Can we have 3 tomorrow.
Smoking joints, hanging out with Marxist professors, and dabbling in cocaine did not prevent a man named Barack Hussein Obama from becoming president. Wondering whether the South should be its own country does not make Jack Hunter a racist.
This story, and all the similar bleating, are a disgrace. It completely changing the conversation from a media looking for lemonade when the facts of the trial weren't on their side. Zimmerman's self defense would have gotten him off in all 50 states. The fact is Trayvon brought violence into the conflict. Before Trayvon threw the first punch, neither party had broken the law (except maybe Trayvon for cutting in-between houses).
Stand your ground never works if I swing first and then finish it with deadly force. Zimmerman never had a chance to retreat when he was cold cocked, pinned, and then pummeled. That's why stand your ground wasn't invoked... he couldn't retreat from the conflict.
Now we have a cacophony of idiots that are pounding the table and blaming a boogeyman that had no bearing on this case. But here's a great story that hasn't made it into this conversation: Stand Your Ground was invoked much more often by blacks than whites in Florida.
And then we have this story, blows up the narrative altogether.
hmm. Where is your Herman Gosnell story? Wonder why so silent on that?
oh, and for comparison. Those puritanical europeans must think women are 'chattel', I think was this idiot's word. Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Holland, and Sweden—just to name a few—restrict abortion to well before 20 weeks. Several draw the line at 12 weeks.
