." It's unpretentious, with no ego, no fanfare, except for the flaming bowls of liquor the size of a large pomelo"...
Really? Pretentious is the word that comes to mind right away But on to the food, We tried two different noodle dishes. the udon was nicely cooked, not too mushy. The sauce was bland and almost flavorless with few pieces of chicken and veggies. My companion had pad thai, the same there. The dishes did qualify for 5 stars in the Volume Catagory, lots of it, just not very good.
Riso Noodle house up the street does a much better job.
Re: “Riso Noodle House”
Great food served hot and with a smile. Helpful and attentive servers.
Been there several times. So far everything we have tried has been great.
Chicken soup, Chow fun noodles, pad thai, etc.
