Amen to Amen
When you live in Charleston it is easy to become jaded with food. We are so punished by choice that we stick to what we know for fear of dissapointment of something new. Another fish house on East Bay is like another bar in New Orleans no biggie and considering what was there before enough said.
But i beg you to sit at the bar and eat the oysters, and then just dive into the apps. Shaved scallop with caviar and a hint of sea salt, flounder ceviche, hush puppies with honey dipping sauce (truely unbelievable) lump crab salad (real big lumps). i have yet to eat an entree or desert because i do not want to spoil the taste of really imaginative creations. Great job to all and Todd Garrigan (Chef) who hovers like a proud father over his food, for a truely inspiring clean tasting experience.
Now go step out on yourself and pray at the new alter of seafood.
