The Tea Party is a loose-knit, spontaneous concept movement controlled by no one. There is no formal organization, no dues, no steering or nominating committees. Over the years, the Constitution has been pulled & stretched, & often ignored as those in high office sought to subvert the Constitution & the rights of the people for their own power & wealth.
We do need to, not change, but return to the original intent of the Founding Fathers, with limited & small government, low taxes & low spending, government being there to guard our freedoms, not steal them from us, & government getting out of the way so capitalism can once again thrive.
More than all other political groups, Tea Party people are highly independent, & each person evaluates & studies the candidates & causes to make an informed choice. The worst offenders are on the left, where they all get their mantra from Media Matters, & march lockstep with the Democrat Party to the hum & rattle in their heads.

The Tea Party is made up of people who are independent, who study the issues and make informed choices of candidates & causes. No one controls these people.
On the other hand, liberals all get their mantra from Media Matters (which is where they learn how to talk), & march lockstep with the Democrats to the hum & rattle in their heads.
The Constitution has been abused & neglected for too long. People in the Tea Party movement believe we need to return to the small government, large freedoms, low taxes & low spending, and all else that conforms with original intent of the Founding Fathers.
