Great show that you will enjoy! Don't miss it! Fun to watch and not too long. Sherlock is handsome and quite "the image" of the master detective. Watkins does a fantastic job! Stay after and talk to the cast. A wonderful group of actors.
I was in the audience on opening night and thoroughly enjoyed the production. I thought Bill Harris (good-looking, wholesome, and a good actor) was an excellent Holmes. If you are a reader of Doyle's Sherlock, you will know that Holmes is whatever we imagine him to look like. My Holmes is a dashing and handsome man with romantic ineptness and a quirky style. Christian Self excellently portrayed Watson. His narration of the story was thoughful, with just the right level of emotion. He kept the story moving at a very good pace to keep the audiences attention and interest. Also, I am not sure I think of Moriarty as sinister, but as a scheming evil character which certainly came through. This is a play everyone will enjoy if you give it a chance. Lastly, I enjoyed the director's style in presenting this play so much that I returned for a 2nd showing! If you are looking for good entertainment, don't miss it!
