I actually just joined the library again for the first time since I was a kid. I read voraciously, and thought that this was a good way to save money. I was really impressed with how many people were there. I had thought that libraries were more or less dead to the modern age, but now that I've been going every week or so and seeing how many people use it regularly, my thoughts have changed and I think libraries will be around for a long time yet.
