My take on this? The property owner is pulling a fast one on the town and the neighborhood. He knows (because of the opposition to Earl's Court) that trying to build his own little high-density empire would be rife with issues. So he allows some white-trash businesses (E-Cigs and a gun store) to open up, pissing off the neighbors, who then see a bunch of cookie-cutter houses all jammed up close together as a Much Nicer Alternative. If a quick fifteen minutes of internet research is correct, the man who owns it is a local lawyer who specializes in commercial real estate law.
What a fucking ultra-maroon. This is what you get when you fire your talented writers and hire freelance hacks.
I agree---the sound was excellent. I regret not mentioning it specifically. Usually I do, but I guess I was so giddy over John and Lyle that it slipped my mind.
Nonsense...she loved the crowd, loved the room, commented on the excellent acoustics...I detected no sarcasm whatsoever. I've seen her six times and have never heard anything but complete professionalism and showmanship.
