I am tired of Charlestonians thinking that Basil has good Thai food.
They have the best Thai food I have had in town but its nothing special.
Bland if anything. Not saying I don't enjoy it on occasion. I just think it is held in too high of esteem.
I have to say. This week has been amazing, as far as participation, support, education, and (counter)culture involved with Queerfest!
I can't wait to go to the events tonight. I just wish it could last longer.
I think it is incredibly important for people to discuss sexuality. How do you prove to people that something isn't a problem or a "bad thing" unless you expose it.
Although this is the south, I am extremely disappointed in the close-mindedness of SSlonim.
Please, expand your comfort zone before you criticize. You judged the entire event based on the word Queer without even attempting to understand what the events are about.
Try talking to any of the people who put it on. You just might learn a little.
Just because you live in the oppressive, conservative south doesn't mean the world wont change. Please, try learning before you critique about something you don't understand.
