Just visited the N. Charleston location for a second shot at getting it right. The first time, I ordered something to go...after 15 minutes I asked how long it would be, the young lady said oh they are making it now. 10 more minutes I said, really? How long does it take to make a sandwich? Then I had to go to the manager where she asked them to make it right away...and gave me a free sandwich card.
I just went back for the free sandwich and called ahead to order it so there wouldn't be a wait....I must've been given the sandwich noone wanted in the window....because it definitely wasn't mine, and it was cold with stale bread. For the price, it's a rare "treat" for a sandwich stop, but I will not be visiting the N. Charleston location again due to the poor service. Sorry to the manager, you seem very nice, but you're staff needs some help. The location downtown is awesome!
Coming from a "good ol' boy" state, it's amazing anyone is supporting our "family". I say, appreciate the opportunity to be proud in public and leave it at that. Some places are still so far in the closet, the closest "family member" is hundreds of miles away. Let's be a little different than most communities and appreciate the rights we have and move forward with a positive attitude.
