I wish the Grand Marshal were not a drag queen.
For "And If Elected": Whats up with the brutality here? Why do hetero's who don't have to fight for their rights, get angry with gays because they do? Did you do that during civil rights march? Put down Negros because they were different and didn't deserve the same as you pure breed whities? HATE is not a word. It is an action. Actions speak louder than words. To host a parade or organize a march, is an action to overcome your action. My action is positive. It represents acceptance and freedom and change. What does your action represent? Maybe the day I don't have to worry about loosing my job I won't participate in a rally. Maybe if I had all the rights you ideliably were entitled to at birth, I wouldn't have to worry about my children or my partner or my life. If the majority of people in this world embraced "everyone" as God's children than maybe we would find it less necessary to parade about our rights and find more reasons to unite as a nation and care about our own. The bigots live on. And hate lives on and as long as there are "If I am Elected" out there, the world stops evolving and people stop being the people they were born to be.
I'd like to add that I don't care too much for the fact that Sumneys the Mayor of North Charleston; his wife is the magistrate of North Charleston and his son sits on the board of Charleston County Council. Talk about inbreeding...........
To Cody L. I personally know the organizers of this event. Might I say on their behalf that there would be no Pride March without their efforts. Instead of ridiculing the organizers you should get off your stump butt and do something about being PROUD first. Do I see your organizing anything here but a bad comment?
