The Groundhog Day Benefit Concert for the Halsey Institute featuring The Opposite of a Train was my first performance at Memminger Auditorium. I feel the hall has a nice resonance and an intimate yet spacious feel. I'm looking forward to more shows at Memminger in the future.
Thank you for putting together this article on the Dillamental project, K.J.! I enjoyed our phone conversation last week. We're excited about performing Dilla's music on the Pour House stage tomorrow night to commemorate his life and legacy. If anyone knows any hip hop heads in Raleigh, NC, we'll be playing this same show at King's on Martin St. downtown on Friday night. Advance tickets for both shows are only $5 and will be $10 the day of. See you there!
