I dig both joints quite a lot. I go for the food sometimes and for the music other times and I always seem to come out happy. My kids enjoy it, my girlfriend enjoys it and they have a really good variety of interesting and very listenable music. It is never too loud. The sound system at both places is really well managed.
I've been to both locations several times already. I appreciate the care that they put into the music side of it and I think the BBQ is the best I've had since Mr. B's closed!
We, Smoky Weiner & the Hot Links played six New Year's Eves and six Bridge Run parties there. We were treated like royalty by Greg Brackman and the late great Thomas Barnes may he rest in peace. No one ever treated a band better than those two former owners of the Blind Tiger. It got so crowded we had to pass our equipment over the back wall to our rhythm guitarist waiting in the parking lot!
I will never forget the Blind Tiger. -Smoky Weiner
