Great column Jack. I do not consider myself a Republican, and several reasons for this are outlined in this column. Right now, the only idea that party seems to embrace is "Defeat Obama". Sorry, but that's not a political platform. Hopefully you're right in your interpretation of the CPAC straw poll, and a silent, young majority of "Ron Paul" people are emerging. I only hope that "Ron Paul People" and "Tea Party People" do become grouped in the same category. "Ron Paul People" would never have Sarah Palin as a keynote speaker.
