Whether you agree with the scrutiny of Haley or not, when a person can stand and say these lines with a straight face, regardless of your party affiliation, you have to give him credit.
"Besides, he says, before he's a Republican, he is a South Carolinian and an American............The Republican Party is not first in my life. It's just not. One thing wrong with partisan politics today is a candidate gets the nomination and people fall in lockstep behind the candidate regardless of the qualifications of the candidate.......You want to fight under our banner? Show you're worthy. It's on both sides. Same thing with Alvin Greene. The Democrats got Alvin Greene, we got Gov. Haley for the same reason. There's a fault line through the two-party system, and it's just as deep and just as wide in both parties. It just is. We don't vet our candidates."
With the sound-bite age upon us, every snippet can be twisted to make a point. The majority of these points are never followed up on, clarified or substantiated. If the solution is to make some people feel uncomfortable to flesh out a good product, then I'm all for it.
Oops - C-O-T-I
Thank you COTD!
Sorry artrogue, but you are obviously misinformed. The party was paid for by the Obama's. Read more and listen to something other than a sound bite.
