Re: “King of Pops

Truly an icon, we love this guy! He completes our Saturday morning farmers market jaunts with his cart o' deliciousness. Summertime floods in with bold and juicy favorites that are full of flavor. Strawberry Basil, Thai Tea, Honeysuckle Lime, Hibiscus Pom, Fruity Pebbles, Salted Caramel the list goes on and on with flavors constantly changing with what is fresh and ripe at that time. True, its frozen but you can be sure it was only frozen a week ago at most. I don't know how he keeps up with the demand. Inventive and constantly throwing me a curve ball with new flavors, I have a hard time staying steady with my all-time favorites and am known to cheat on them with the flirty new flavor of the day. The King is keeping it local by using local products and we love that. At Pet Fest, he even made dog cups too. (Our dog Mojo loved his!) Make room in your day to find his cart (I believe he tweets locations)...it'll be a sweet 10 minutes of me time (and perhaps your dog too if you share.)

Wow! Way more to do than I thought possible in a pre-holiday shopping weekend! But in my efforts to score those 2 mac n cheese tix, here is my pre-mac-n-cheese tix score plans...No plans for tonight except for dinner d-town and walking around...But Sat we've got the Folly Beach run in the AM followed by a stop at the Marion Square Farmers Market Autumn Fest...then swinging by the Lowcountry Artists Market before it closes at 3...nap then oyster roast at a friends....Sundays are for Sullivans with the dogs on the beach and then lunch at Poes...softball game at JCC and then another long nap before getting my Desperate Housewives on!

Re: “Cute and fluffy, but can't afford hammers

Wow, I sure hope you don't have kids. Kids are jobless and lazy and according to your logic, apparently don't desserve to leave the house, either. If your dogs are that happy with the dog park, wouldn't you take that as a cue to perhaps do it a little more. Dog Parks and Beaches are a good idea, as are dog friendly bars. I agree with leah. Have some fun with the dog. If not, why do you even bother having a dog?
