I was at the Newberry debate and I watched the Orangeburg debate on TV. Looking over all the candidates that are running for Governor on the Republican side, Nikki- speaks very well, but no real experience in politics, McMaster- polished, experienced but doesn’t have appeal, Grooms- he’s on a mission but comes across as another person who would only keep to his own agenda, reminds me of Sanford. Andre- how he got reelected is beyond me. Seriously I just can’t see him leading a state. Gresham- he’s got experience, he has the appeal and he’s got a plan for real change. The Democrats, looks like a two way race, Rex and Mullins. Rex has the experience and Mullins has the appeal.
