I had one posted, but it sounded pretentious, so I deleted it.

Yep, bless the generosity of their hearts for what they allow.

Re: “Cherny runs for Congress again, upgrades to Democrat

Cherny sounds like a very good man doomed to defeat, but anyway... He sort of awakens the momentary and whimsical desire in me to return to my former home state & vote for the guy. Here in NC we seem to be threatening to beat y'all in the race to the bottom.

Shoot me, Officer O'Mally. You really can't tell if I'm armed or not. On second thought, don't shoot...I'm white.

Re: “Bernie's fans are starting to sound like Trump

Will, your friend seems silly, foolish and destructive. There is always a greater and lesser evil and this time the distinction is blindingly obvious. I don't like Hillary on any level: she seems a comfortable corporatist and a potential war monger (through her closeness to AIPAC, and in general). But, in contrast to ANY of the Republican crew, it seems treason not to vote for her if she is nominated instead of Bernie.

Re: “Trump: Vatican 'ISIS' ultimate target,' Pope being used as a pawn by unnamed other

Trump is a fool & a boor. Unless you compare him with the other Republican candidates, at which time he becomes relatively intelligent and a near gentleman.
