It would have been nice to profile Chris Holly from Music Unlimited who has toured with the Romney Campaign, is known as the Tea Party Rocker and has been on Huckabee with Tim Scott. He even has a Mitt Romney Campaign Song: http://youtu.be/PiPYv4NIOEg
It's nice to hear about musicians who support both sides.
I think people often lump together the climate change argument with simple good sense conservation and becoming a more efficient, energy independent society. These days when I use the word "green" or "eco-friendly", I am automatically lumped in with the global warming groups. Not everyone who is passionate about our planet believes all the "climate change" rhetoric.
I believe it is our responsibility to do what we can individually to be less wasteful, challenge our government to offer solutions and benefits for dutiful recycling and energy conservation and to make it easy for citizens to save money and reduce their waste. Forcing change down people's throats never works. Education and sensible solutions are the answer - then the majority will follow.
Can't wait to go for Girl's Night Out!
Enjoyed the first Nosh Mob event at Avondale Wine and Cheese! What a quaint, cozy spot to sip wine chosen to bring out the delicious flavors of the wide variety of cheese. My personal favorite was the soft spanish cheese paired with whole figs in a rich delicious sauce. Top that with the red wine pairing and like minded foodies - this was the perfect way to spend a rainy evening.
My 5 year old daughter Reese and enjoyed the show! A rare treat on a Wednesday night in Mount P! We couldn't stay for all the bands, but Reese was jumping in her seat and dancing in the aisles for Stereoreform!
Re: “Purée Café”
I love Puree and I am not a vegetarian. Granted, my husband hesitated to go in when he saw the baby items for sale in the window, but they have changed it up a bit and added more seating and the food cannot be beat. We have been back many times since that first visit and we are never disappointed by the food. The Tempeh Burger is devine!
