Re: “Delusion and denial do not make sound opinion

I think its too easy to blame history for our shared past. If we would only look to the present then history is an innocent contemporary. Let's make history our friend. I mean I remember a time when you couldn't say the words that you hear every day on television. I remember a day when you couldn't see in a Play boy magazine the things you see on Folly every day. Aw things could be great folks if we just live for the here and now instead of the there and then.

Re: “The lessons to be learned from the Casey Anthony verdict

I know how the good Mr. Haire feels. This is exactly like the time when Clinton was asked, "did U have sex w/THAT woman"? The semantical maniac answered, "That depends on what the meaning of the word 'Giz' iz. "

Always remember that "reasonable doubt" does not imply "beyond a shadow of a doubt". After all, if Monica had stayed quiet, Clinton woulda gotten outta THAT mess; yet, on the other hand, if Monica had a bigger mouth, he wouldn't have stained her dress.

Re: “Stegelin's Weekly Cartoon

I loved this cartoon. It's not just that it's true, it's that people do communicate about things that they don't understand and then everyone stands around spouting off platitudes and cliches and then some sort of bond is formed among perfect strangers over some very local insight into tourists and.....okay, I didn't get the joke. So shoot me. Why can't there be cartoons with little baby bunnies in them?
