August 28, 2009 - Likes it - I just have to tell ya. I been to a few bbq places. Some are good, others are average...But Moose's Famous BBQ is the best in the Low Country! And its not just how amazing the food tastes but ,get this! Its FRESH! you watch them bring fresh servings on the buffet CONSTANTLY and we Love that! You can have mac and cheese, bbq, smoked chicken, hash,freshly cut brisket, freshly cut pork loin, and the Cole Slaw is to die for! Banana pudding and much much more! We were very comfortable and Love that the owner makes his rounds to make sure his customers are welcomed and Happy with the service and the food! .The walls are designed with rustic framed puzzles that I was told the owner and his wife did themselves. Gives you a sence of comfort, relaxation and enjoyabilty This is Truly a Hometown Treasure! My favorite place to dine by far! Don't take my word for it- Take the drive to 1440 South Live Oak Drive (Hwy. 17-A)
