Re: “Ladles Homemade Soups

Used to love Ladles (W. Ashley)... went yesterday and the soup was room temperature and very bland ("loaded" potato -- though they left off the "loaded" part, and lemon greek chicken). The staff was friendly, but very confused and were messing up everyone's orders (it's just soup and sandwiches!).

Re: “Raval is now Closed for Business

plus, I really don't care what LA is doing. Raval had character and great wine. It was just replaced by Joe's American Bar & Grill. Face the facts.... I hope it closes for business (har har).

Re: “Raval is now Closed for Business

You're really pushing it if you think any of REV foods places have 'way-above-average' food. And odds are, this one is no different, with descriptions of their fare like "burgers and fries to pork rinds and potato skins"...

Re: “Oak Steakhouse goes viral

Taco Boy should stick to being "silly and fun", because their food & service are awful.

Re: “Raval closing for good this Saturday

Let's see...

Poe's: Overpriced, overrated, overcooked burgers and awful service

Taco Boy: A poor attempt at Mexican food, simply put.

Monza: How hard is it to screw up Pizza? It's ok, nothing to brag about.

Raval: The only one Rev Foods had right. And what do they do? First they renovate the back, completely stripping it of any character, and now they close it entirely. It was always packed -- how could it not be successful?
