Re: “Reality show makeover might leave locals confused

I loved their upscale feel and didn't have a problem with the prices. I felt like I could get a downtown experience without dealing with the downtown hassle. Haven't been to the new Cannon, but I'm not a big "small plates" person. So /shrug. I do know I'll miss the buttermilk friend chicken and tasso gravy!

Re: “Area taxi drivers planning "One Night Strike"

I would consistently use a cab to go to/from downtown from any outside area IF I COULD GET ONE! Why don't taxis start marketing to the longer routes than just downtown?! This is the only "city" I've ever lived in that I can't get a cab or use light rail instead of driving to play.

Re: “Zocalo transforms into Dig in the Park

The ONE area I go to get away from the "sports bar" atmosphere that permeates Charleston is Park Circle. Park Circle was the one haven in Charleston from the visor, baseball, croakie crowd. Would have been better for Zocalo to evolve into something that fits the neighborhood. DISLIKE
